There are no application forms as such, but letters of application must include the full contact address of the candidate, INCLUDING EMAIL ADDRESS and be accompanied by:
A statement incorporating:
(a) the use to which it is proposed to put the award, including an provisional itinerary;
(b) the applicant's academic qualifications and other roles and achievements;
(c) the applicant's financial situation and indication of the proportion of the total cost of travel they are able to fund from own funds such as summer earnings or other sources (the Trust will not fund in full);
(d) brief details of foreign travel experience.
A letter of recommendation from the Head of House, Tutor or Director of Studies should accompany the application (alternatively this can be sent directly by email to Prof Garnett or Dr Lucy).
The closing date for applications will be 6pm on Monday 10th February 2025.
Candidates placed on the short list will be invited to attend for interview in London on Wednesday 12th March 2025. Their travel expenses to interview will be refunded.
In making an application to the Trust, agreement is given to the use of personal contact details for communication purposes only; data will not be passed to any third parties. Only applications of successful applicants will be retained within the Trust's records.
